Ryecroft Approved Premises is a sixteen bed, all male hostel which exists to protect the public by providing an individually drawn up treatment programme which will, in each case, be designed to enable the resident to reduce his offending. Every offender is carefully assessed at referral stage, and Ryecroft will only accept those who can be safely and effectively managed by our specialist staff. Offenders, who are effectively monitored and engaged with during their stay, either reside as a condition of their bail, or as a condition of their prison licence or Community Order. If they fail to comply with what is expected of them, they are returned to Court or to Prison. The hostel staff - who are on duty 24 hours a day (including waking nights) provide the offender with the opportunity to develop a constructive lifestyle which will enable him to move on to other suitable and more independent accommodation at the end of his residence, and stay free from offending.
