High Sheriff visits Stroud Canal Project

The High Sheriff of Gloucestershire (middle) visited the Stroud Canal Project on the 10th January 2011, with the manager of the Gloucestershire Probation Trust Community Payback Team (left) and the Director of Reach Social Enterprise (right).

Gloucestershire Probation Trust working in partnership with Reach are laying a substantial pathyway alongside the canal for public use. Gloucestershire Probation Trust provides labour via the offenders sentenced to Communitry Order for Unpaid Work.

The High Sheriff was very impressed with the work and the value it added for the community.
