Offenders help with snow at The Rock club

Offenders sentenced to unpaid work have helped out at The Rock club at St Peter's Church in Cheltenham by clearing snow and ice from their paths and car park. Matt Dobbins, Community Payback Supervisor from Gloucestershire Probation Trust said, "the offenders worked very hard as the deep frozen ice and snow proved very difficult to clear". The Rock work with young people who have been - or are at risk of being - excluded from mainstream education. In the evenings and at weekends are doors are open to all young people who want somewhere safe to hang out, to play sports, or to learn new skills, a link to their website can be found below.
