The focus is on Support. This involves engaging, motivating and supporting offenders to address basic skills needs so that they undertake and complete basic skills training delivered in one to one sessions or group sessions on GPA premises.

The focus is on Skills Training. This involves improving and developing the skills of offenders to enter education, training or employment. It can be delivered in 1 to 1 sessions or in a group. Current skills training offered includes CV’s, Disclosure, Interview skills and Skills Assessment.

The focus is on guidance and support into appropriate education, training or employment. This involves information giving, assessment, guidance, advocacy to and placement with an employer. It is delivered on an individual basis.

The outcome of all three activities is to reduce the likelihood of offenders re-offending by enabling them to access appropriate education, training and employment.
