Bush Court Priors Road Cheltenham Graffiti Removal
Lucy Harrison, Neighbourhood Warden for Cheltenham Borough Homes Ltd contacted Gloucestershire Probation Trust's Community Payback project's officer to nominate a project to paint over graffiti on shed buildings at the rear of Bush Court, Priors Road, Cheltenham following complaints by the residents. Not only was the graffiti unsightly but it also included a significant amount of offensive words.
Offenders sentenced to unpaid work by the courts used paints, brushes and rollers provided by Cheltenham Borough Homes to paint over the graffiti. The offenders also cleared some away some invading ivy.
Lucy Harrison, Neighbourhood Warden, contacted our Community Payback team to say "a big thanks you to you and the guys for all their hard work on covering up the graffiti on the sheds at Bush Court, and also taking down the ivy which was causing problems growing into the communal hallways. They have done a fantastic job and very much look forward to working with them on future projects".
